A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month). The aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep, at the heart of Luton.
A Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to:
- Boost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature
- Explore green spaces in Luton
- Meet like-minded people and make new friends
- Learn about the natural world and share your own knowledge or experiences
The walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers.
The walks are free and all ages welcome!
The Wilder Luton project is part of a national movement of Wildlife Trusts. They work locally in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire with the mission to stop nature's decline.
Walks will be held in Foxdell/Chaul End, Leagrave Park and Luton Henge, Stopsley Common and Hay Wood, Bramingham Wood, Dallow Downs, Cowslip Meadow and Galley and Warden Hills.
