Small Grants with awards of up to £15,000
Grants are available to charities, voluntary and community groups, local authorities, clubs, schools, and other not-for-profit organisations delivering sports and physical activities to improve the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged communities in England.
Sport England's Small Grants Programme can now give 50% larger awards to help communities get active after the maximum grant amount was increased to £15,000 for 2023.
Couch 2 Coach Luton
Couch 2 Coach Luton provides funding for people wanting to get qualified to coach or support sports or physical activity sessions in Luton. The aim of Couch 2 Coach Luton is to develop a broader and more diverse sports coaching workforce by up-skilling individuals from under-served groups or those working to increase activity levels in under-represented communities in our region. The fund especially welcomes applications from those who are at the start of their coaching journey and up until now do not have a coaching qualification .
We are currently only accepting applications from deliverers or coaches in Luton.

This is an open call out to community partners to submit their ideas for a research project to gauge young people's perceptions of:
- safety in Luton;
- the Criminal Justice System;
- trusting the Police and the wider community safety partnership

We offer a wide range of support services to ensure that as many sports funding applications as possible are submitted to improve the sport and physical activity experience and infrastructure across Bedfordshire. We have worked with partners to bring in more than £1.2M of external funding into sport in the county during the 2021-22 financial year and the experience and knowledge of our staff is available to you.
