Nicola Ward

Community Engagement Officer

I am a dedicated Sports Development professional with a strong background in Leisure and Project Management, driven by a passion for promoting the enjoyment and benefits of sport and physical activity. I believe in the power of sport to unite communities and create positive social change.

With lived experience as a player, official, and chair of a local sports club, I bring a deep, authentic understanding of community needs. In my role as Community Engagement Officer, I use this insight to help facilitate the design and delivery of inclusive, impactful programs that foster participation, build relationships, and empower people through sport.
