Help us to give young people a voice
At Be Active we are committed to the fight against criminal or sexual child exploitation and supporting victims and their families who are subjected to the horrors of exploitation in all forms.
We believe that if we can make more people aware by joining together on the National Child Exploitation Awareness Day, we can improve the chances of young people being heard.
The national raising awareness day is run by the NWG, a charity working to stop child exploitation.
They have built a comprehensive network that links practitioners involved in creating the best response for those who have become subjected to child exploitation. They also raise awareness and are educators who are passionate about stopping child exploitation.

You can focus your awareness raising event on the day itself - 18th March - or spread it out over a series of events during the month of March.
Hold events such as school talks to pupils, teaching staff and non-teaching staff, non-uniform days, stalls and displays. Posters and leaflets through your workplace are an important and effective way of raising awareness and sharing important messages about child exploitation.
