As part of our #LutonLetsGetActive campaign, we would like to encourage residents and the local community to get active and moving as the Governments restrictions continue to gradually ease. Sport and physical activity has numerous benefits to physical and emotional health including reducing stress and minimising the risk of long term health conditions.
July's monthly challenge asks residents to #CaptureYourMovement, taking a photo or video being active, this could be a walk with friends and family or attending an exercise class- whatever you decide, please do send your photos and videos to HealthyLuton@luton.gov.uk- we would love to share these as part of out campaign.
Share your stories
We would love to hear your stories on how you've supported the return of sport and physical activity via our #LutonLetsGetActive campaign. It's never to late to start your journey or find an activity that's right for you, we would love to share your stories as part of our campaign to support other local residents to become active or try something new.
This month's monthly challenge #CaptureYourMovement asks residents to take a photo or video being active and moving, this could be a lunchtime walk or cycling with friends and family. Please share your stories of being active along with any photos and videos (with the relevant consent) to HealthyLuton@luton.gov.uk
