The Girls Active Lifestyles project targets girls ages 9 – 16 and aims to improve confidence, self esteem and levels of participation in physical activity. Each Middle and Upper School receives minimum of 6 weeks of fitness activities with targeted girls like Zumba, yoga and cheerleading.

All schools come together for a day of fun and physical activities.

Lower Schools are invited to take part in our Girls Active offer where they receive 5 weeks of fitness based activities to Key Stage 2 girls at their schools, normally during lunchtimes

Monitoring of changes in participation in physical activity and attitudes towards healthy lifestyles takes place at the start and finish of each project.

Girls are encouraged to take part in sustained regular physical activity inside and outside of school.
