Welcome to the Bedford Borough School Sports Partnerships web page.

The Bedford Borough SSPs was established in 2011, following the merger of both the Bedford & Kempston and North Bedfordshire School Sport Partnerships. We work with 72 schools in Bedford to maximise the positive impact that high quality Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity can have on the health and well being of our young people. We are based at Biddenham International School and Sharnbrook Academy.

We are passionate about ensuring that all young people have the opportunity to access a wide range of high quality PE and sport opportunities both within schools and our local communities.

One of the main areas for focus is the School Games which focuses on keeping competitive sport at the heart of schools and providing more young people with the opportunity to compete and achieve their personal best.
